We continue to invest in the security of the nation in order to respond to the public’s demand for more public safety (while trying to keep all of our indivudal privacy rights). In general, this presents many challenges not the least of which is finding qualified candidates to meet our homeland security demands. We have a shortange of police officers, security personnel, and even a shortage of people to serve in the military.
